Last summer, a friend of mine asked me to make her a dress. I was like, "I don't make dresses, I just rip up t-shirts". She then said that was why she wanted me to make her a dress, because I don't make "dresses" I make "wearable art". Huh.
So, it got my wheels a-churnin and I went home and started playing with some fabric I had lying around. Before I knew it, I had designed a dress based along the same lines as my shirts; they all adjust to fit the woman, each one turns out slightly differently and is, in effect, wearable artwork.
